Helen Rankin Sabocheck

Helen Rankin Sabocheck, 81, of Bentleyville formerly of Deemston Boro. died Thursday November 8, 2007 in Kindred Hospital, Pittsburgh following a brief illness. She was born December 14, 1925 in Fredericktown the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary McCarty Rankin Sr. Mrs. Sabocheck was a lifelong member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Deemston Boro. She was also a member of the Deemston Grange and the Beth-Center Senior Citizens. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Wesley Sabocheck of Harrisburg, George Sabocheck and wife Debbie of Fredericktown, one grandson, Scott Sabocheck, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sabocheck was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband, George Sabocheck Sr. who died March 12, 1978, one granddaughter, Stacy Sabocheck who died October 16, 2004, and three brothers, Warren, Dale, & Clarence “Brother” Rankin Jr. At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
